Nobody ever mentions the food enough in these reviews. The dal bhat in the tea houses is genuinely delicious and the unlimited refills policy is one of the best things that exists at any altitude. The apple pies in Namche bakeries should be internationally famous. The garlic soup at Lobuche saved my soul on a cold evening when everything felt hard. And the farewell dinner in Kathmandu on Day 13 was perfect.

I'm a doctor and I was paying close attention to altitude management throughout. It was genuinely excellent — daily SpO₂ monitoring, appropriate pacing, conservative altitude gain, and a very clear protocol for any AMS symptoms.
